  1. Reverend Peter Hewis

Friends from Lampeter and Llanfair Clydogau brought us some of your cheese and it is the best cheese we have tasted for years. Now we can go and buy some in Oxford.
Peter and Heddwen (nee James from Cwmanne) Hewis.

  2. Hello – please can you tell me if you are able to supply my delicatessen in Ledbury and if you have a wholesale price list? If you are able to I could order through my son, Alex Cheesman (Real France) at Borough Market as he delivers to us on a fortnightly basis. I am particularly interested in Gorwydd

  3. Hi guys

I’m pleased to say we are a stockist of Gorwydd Caerphilly at Arch House Deli.

Would it be possible for you to add us to your website under the list of stockists.

    Our details are as follows:-

  4. I bought some of your cheese in Zurich lastnight and it is so tasty. I have never had the real thing before and it was such a pleasant surprice that it tasted so fantastic!

  5. Hello

Please could you add us to your list of stockists!
    thanks

  6. Gorwydd Caerphilly is also available in Switzerland at the British Cheese Centre in Zurich (at the new Viadukt Market and at Jelmoli) and at some of our other retailers in Winterthur, Basel, Schaan, Thun and at many other events and markets around the country. It’s now one of our best selling cheeses!

  7. Great cheese. but I’m suprised that our local supplier Madame Fromage in Cardiff is not listed as one of your suppliers since they seem to carry and promote more of your cheese than any other supplier I’ve come across and we have bought it off them since it came on the market five or six years ago.

  8. Your Cerphilly is my favorite cheese, period. I first bought it about 10 years ago at the Cheese Board on Shattuck Avenue in Berkeley on the advice of one of the members of the collective staffing the cheese counter. I had been asking about cheeses from Neal’s Yard.

I live in Alaska and the Cheese Board has become one of my vacation destinations, not the least reason for which is that they sell Caerphilly. When I go there I regularly buy at least 1/2 a wheel, and when I do, it is announced that someone is buying a huge piece of Caerphilly.

You should list them as a supplier. The organization is a collective. They have a huge and wonderful selection of cheeses and breads, as well as helpful and knowledgable members of the collective to help you find just the right cheese for your particular taste.

  9. Gorwydd is a lovely cheese, although not on the shlef all the time it is in both shops regularly.

  10. Hi
And of course we are proud stockists of Gorwydd Caerphilly – one of the few territorials that go down well in our part of Dorset!

  13. I recently bought a slice of your gorwydd at Waitrose. Yum yum yum. Where can I buy a massive chunk/ at least half a cheese at a time, please? Do you sell direct?

  14. Hello Jess -
Thanks for your reply. I live in Stafford, so a 25ish-mile radius would be fine. I also travel to Halstead in Essex frequently, as well as Anglesey.

Do you make a cheese that’s about a kilo in weight? That’d be perfect to send as presents … if so, which of your stockists offer this service? I usually send Yarg at Xmas and just order it through the dairy website – this looks as though this might be a bit more of a challenge – which I’m game for if it can be done!

    With best wishes,
    Mary

    • Hi Mary – Right, I’ll get on the case! Our smallest cheese is a 2kg but I’ll see whether there’s any way we could make 1kg’s for Christmas or to order. In the meantime, I’ll be in touch with your nearest stockist. Jess
